Our Real-life Setting
At NEOVIVA, we understand that recovery doesn’t happen apart from life; it happens within it. That’s why our clinic is located in a private wing of a hotel. Our treatment programmes don’t occur in a clinical bubble. Within the quiet hum of daily hotel life, you live as you would outside treatment: staying in one of the hotel’s suites, dining in the hotel restaurant, walking in the hotel’s verdant landscape, and swimming in the outdoor pool. These carefully supported ordinary moments are part of your therapeutic journey, not removed from reality, but anchored in the real world.

Why exposure matters
Many addiction treatment centres completely isolate clients from daily life. While this can feel protective, it can also make the return home overwhelming. Beyond the safety of the clinic, the smallest everyday moments, such as the sound of laughter from another table, the smell of cigarette smoke, or the clink of glasses at dinner, can suddenly stir cravings.
At NEOVIVA, we prepare you differently. Instead of shielding you entirely from the triggers in everyday life, we help you encounter them gradually with proper support and guidance. You get to experience, navigate and process your triggers so that over time the power they hold over you begins to fade. By the end of your stay with us, instead of fearing a return to the outside world, you feel confident to embrace it.
A setting without stigma
Entering a clinic’s treatment programme can spark uncomfortable feelings. You might fear being judged or feel the weight of stigma that still surrounds addiction treatment. At NEOVIVA, that burden is lifted. In a hotel setting, you are simply another guest. There is no signage, no clinical façade, no sterile rooms and corridors, and no spotlight on why you are here.
This sense of dignity matters. It allows you to settle in quietly, focus on yourself, and begin recovery with anonymity, free from the worry of how others might perceive you.

Structure that supports recovery
The hotel environment provides a natural rhythm. There are regular mealtimes. Breakfast is served at the same time each morning, and lunches are shared. Evenings have their own pace of dining, reflection and rest. Therapy sessions and group work fit gently into this daily flow, so that structure becomes a part of life, much like at home, rather than an imposed clinical routine.
This rhythm is a crucial component of recovery. It allows you to practise living with balance, not in the artificial world of an institution, but in a real environment where you eat at regular times, take part in activities, learn how to pace your days, manage energy, and build healthy habits that you will carry with you long after your stay.

Daily life, supported
Imagine sitting down for dinner at a restaurant and experiencing an intense craving. Perhaps the popping of a cork acts as a trigger. For many, it’s an inevitable experience that can’t be avoided forever.
Here, a Recovery Counsellor is beside you in the hotel restaurant, helping you talk through what arises, offering quiet reassurance, reminding you that you are safe, and teaching you the coping strategies to manage.
These moments, at first difficult, slowly become manageable. What once felt like a threat to sobriety becomes just another part of daily life. These are skills and experiences you gain through your treatment with us; you’re not just left to grapple with them alone afterwards.
Guided by those who understand
Our Recovery Counsellors are not just professionals; they bring their own lived experience of recovery to the table. They know how it feels to face a trigger in the middle of an ordinary moment, and they know how to move through it. Their presence is subtle yet steady, acting as a quiet anchor as you eat, walk, or engage in daily activities. With them by your side, the everyday becomes something to embrace, not something to fear.

Gradual freedom beyond the hotel
As your recovery strengthens, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time outside the clinic and hotel. At first, these outings take place alongside a Recovery Counsellor; perhaps a walk together through the nearby town, a visit to a café, or time browsing local shops. These everyday activities are carefully supported, giving you space to practise new coping strategies in real situations.
In time, you may choose to explore alone, building confidence in your independence while still having the reassurance of returning to the safety of NEOVIVA. This gradual exposure helps you feel more prepared for your return home.
Preparing for life beyond treatment
Exposure to life’s challenges here is always intentional, paced, and never overwhelming. This process helps reduce cravings, builds resilience, and prepares you for the realities of life after treatment.
When you leave NEOVIVA, you take more than sobriety with you. You carry the confidence of having already faced and overcome real-life situations in a safe, supportive environment.
