Samuel Perry
Recovery Counsellor
Samuel brings a quiet depth and grounded presence to the NEOVIVA team. His own recovery journey began over two decades ago, setting in motion a profound transformation that continues to inform his work today.
As a recovery counsellor, Samuel’s approach emphasises empathy, realism, and integrity. He builds trust through gentle honesty and believes meaningful progress often involves facing difficult truths. Through shared experience, he creates a steady, non-judgemental space where people feel understood, while inspiring a sense of hope and belief in what is possible. His work centres on human connection and a genuine desire to give back.
A former architect, Samuel is creative, thoughtful, and reflective. He transitioned from that field to follow his calling, supporting individuals in prisons, shelters, and recovery communities internationally. In his free time, he enjoys sketching, jogging, walking, and swimming. He values the Buddhist principles of wise speech and gratitude and prioritises daily self-care through journalling and meditation.
