While you should ensure adequate protein intake for mood regulation and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, it’s wise to avoid caffeine, refined sugar and processed foods.

Marijuana is known to increase appetite, often leading to an unbalanced diet high in calories but low in nutritional value. This underscores the importance of dietary guidance during recovery. Long-term users who are overweight may need to reduce their intake of fat, sugar, and overall calories to achieve a healthier balance.
