We work with you
As a referring physician, psychiatrist, private therapist or any other treatment professional, we want to work with you to ensure that your client gets the best possible care. We will involve you in the admissions process and may request any relevant medical information before conducting our pre-assessment call with your client to determine her or his suitability for admission. Given the client’s consent, we will continue to communicate with you following the pre-assessment, and keep you updated.
Intake
Upon the client’s arrival, a comprehensive mental health assessment will be performed at NEOVIVA as well as additional medical tests in one of our partner clinics. This helps us to exclude any underlying health concerns and to become aware of health issues that need to be addressed during treatment. Some of these may point to nutritional deficiencies, such as a lack of essential vitamins or other micronutrients that can lead to dysregulation of your metabolism. The results of the medical tests will also reveal other general health aspects. These insights create the foundation for the individualised formulation of your treatment.
Intakes at NEOVIVA can take place any day of the week, depending on the availability of treatment places. At NEOVIVA, we take our commitment to treat very seriously and will only admit someone when we can assure the level of treatment required.
During treatment
Throughout the course of treatment, and with the client’s agreement, we will continue to keep you informed of their progress. Together with the client, we will prepare a personalised discharge and continuing care plan during treatment.
Discharge
After their stay with us, we will refer the client back to you. As NEOVIVA is committed to providing long-term support for our clients in their recovery, our team will be happy to assist you should any questions arise during their continuing care.
