Loreto Diez

Recovery Counsellor

MA in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy

Some people radiate kindness and positivity, naturally lighting up a room. That is Loreto. Perceptive, curious, empathetic, and deeply attentive, she brings warmth and openness to the NEOVIVA team. As a Recovery Counsellor, she creates a space where clients feel safe, understood, and free from judgement. She believes real change begins with being truly heard.

Originally from Spain, Loreto studied psychology and recently earned her Master’s in psychology. Her interest in addiction work grew from witnessing substance misuse within her extended family, giving her a deep appreciation of how addiction affects individuals and those around them.

She uses her knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and incorporates its tools into recovery-focused work to support clients accept challenging thoughts and emotions, reconnect with their personal values and pursue more meaningful lives.

Outside of work, Loreto enjoys travelling, reading, and expanding her knowledge of psychology through books, podcasts and conversations. An avid animal lover, she grew up with six dogs at home.
